Femetres S. Gray, ED.S. is Founder and CEO of FSG Learning & Consulting, LLC. She is the visionary of our organization and is a 21-year educator who served in the following capacities during her educational career at the school and district level: teacher, principal, instructional coach, literacy specialist, professional development specialist and academic coordinator. She has experience in teaching, training and coaching as well as instructional and organizational leadership. Femetres served in Shelby County Schools, urban school district located in Memphis, Tennessee. She has worked and led schools in the neediest and most challenging communities.   

Femetres S. Gray, ED. S. attended Tennessee State University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Arts & Sciences with an emphasis in Child Growth & Development and certification in Elementary Education. She also holds a Master’s of Education and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Union University in Germantown, Tennessee.   

Femetres has served students and families in public education and at the collegiate level as an adjunct professor with The University of Memphis and The University of Phoenix. In these roles she taught pre service educators in the area of literacy and general studies. Serving students and families is her life’s passion and she is dedicated to ensuring students’ remain our number one priority.  

Certified Instructional Tutors 

With over two decades of servicing Shelby County Schools, LaKeva Thompson supports students in academic growth by allowing students to reach beyond their comfort zone to maximize their learning abilities. For over 24 years LaKeva was a Curriculum and Instruction Educator, Master Teacher, and Instructional Facilitator Interventionists. She passionately served in these roles being a change agent and student advocate. Her belief is that the most beautiful thing about learning is that no one can ever take that away. Today, with the same passion and empathy, LaKeva serves in the Curriculum and Instruction Department as a RTI2 Advisor supporting 56 schools. As a servant leader being able to see lives change and behaviors corrected is the “why” that motivates LaKeva to apply her selflessness leadership style. She understands that effective communication and successful collaboration with parents, Principals, and school staff is the key that opens windows of opportunities for students.
